Niklas Lemke ready for the European Tour
Kambua-sponsored professional golfer, Niklas Lemke, has earned playing rights for next year’s European Tour. Of the victory, he said, “It feels amazing, and I am very proud.”
Niklas was able to come through six rounds during the final qualifying stages at the Lumine Golf Club in Tarragona, Spain, finishing in 6th place, to earn his European Tour Card.
Spanish native, Alejandro Canizares, and South African Zander Lombard shared first place with a joint score of 24 under par. Lemke finished only three shots behind on 21 under par, sixth from the top nine on the starting field. “I am extremely proud of how I handled the whole week and especially the last yard,” he said.
It was also a good day for fellow Swedish players, Anton Karlsson and Per Langfors, who also won their playing cards for the 2019 European Tour. Niklas remarked, “The goal for me now is to continue to get better and beat the targets I’m wanting to beat. I still have some work to do to get where I want to be. As it looks, I will step into the European Tour in December, my first tournament contest being in South Africa.”
Just over 18 months ago, Kambua International made the decision to invest in Niklas Lemke and sponsor him on the Challenge Tour. “Before my collaboration with Kambua, I had never managed to get to where I am now. I hadn’t been able to achieve my big goals with golf,” Niklas said of his sponsorship.
Kambua International would like to congratulate Niklas Lemke on his hard work and success. We wish him well, and good luck as he embarks on the European Tour when the 2018/2019 season commences next week. We look forward to hearing more good news and working with you in the future.Show more articles
